With Skills in Demand Visa in Specialist Stream, you can

• work in Australia for your sponsor for up to 4 years, or up to 5 years if you are a Hong Kong passport holder
• study (you won’t receive government assistance)
• travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid
• if eligible, apply for permanent residence.

Basic Eligibility:

·         Applicant must be nominated by an Employer in Australia.

·         Meet English language requirements.

·         Meet health and character requirement.

·         May need skills assessment.

·         Need one year of work experience relevant to your nominated occupation or in related field.

• be nominated to work in an occupation listed in Major Groups 1,2,4,5 or 6 with a salary that meets the Specialist Skills Income Threshold. 

With Skills in Demand Visa in Core Skills Stream, you can

• work in Australia for your sponsor for up to 4 years, or up to 5 years if you are a Hong Kong passport holder
• study (you won’t receive government assistance)
• travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid
• if eligible, apply for Permanent residence.

·         Applicant must be nominated by an Employer in Australia.

·         Meet English language requirements.

·         Meet health and character requirement.

·         May need skills assessment.

·         Need one year of work experience relevant to your nominated occupation or in related field.

·         For this stream of the visa, you must be sponsored to work in an occupation listed on the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL). 

With Skills in Demand Visa in Labour Agreement Stream, you can

• Work in Australian for up to 4 years for your sponsor or up to 5 years if you are a Hong Kong passport holder.
• Study (you won’t receive government assistance).
• Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want, while the visa is valid.
• Have your employer sponsor you for permanent residence through the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186).

Basic Eligibility:

·         Applicant must be nominated by an Employer in Australia.

·         Meet English language requirements as per work agreement of their employer.

·         Meet health and character requirement.

·         May need skills assessment.

·         Need one year of work experience relevant to your nominated occupation or in related field. If work agreement allow less experience, then the applicant can meet this requirement according to work agreement.

·         For this stream of the visa, you must be sponsored to work in an occupation listed on the work agreement that their employer has entered with the Minister.
