Skilled Work Regional Provisional Visa (subclass 491)

This is a provisional visa temporary leading to permanent visa. It is for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia. You need to live work and study only in regional Australia to get permanent resident visa through this visa. This visa invites skilled worker if they are ready to live, work and study in regional area

Eligibility Criteria

• Competent English (6 each in IELTS)
• Skill assessment in STSOL or MLTSL or ROL
• Must be under 45 years of age.
• Must have 65 points including state points.
• Must be nominated by a state in Australia.
• Must meet health Requirements.

Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191)

This visa does not commence until 16 November 2022. It is for people who have reside, work and studied in regional area in Australia on a previous eligible visa. 

This visa permits you: –

• Dwell in Australia permanently.
• Entitled to enroll in a study course or do job anywhere in Australia.
• Eligibility to apply for Australian citizenship.
• Sponsor eligible relatives to come to Australia.

Eligibility Criteria

• You need to hold an eligible regional provisional 491 or 494 visa, when applying for Subclass 191 Visa.
• You must have lived for a minimum of 3 years and have a taxable income at or above a particular income threshold for a minimum of 3 years.
• Applicants (Primary and secondary) have to comply with the conditions of the qualified visa you hold or have held.
