fAMILY VISA
There is different type of Partner visas in Australia. A spouse or de-facto partner of Australian Citizen, Australian PR or Eligible New Zealand citizen can apply for these visas. These visas let you live here permanently. You can live, study work in Australia in any part. These visas are two stage process in which you got temporary visa first and then after holding 2-year temporary visa permanent visa will be granted to you. If you have long term relationship, then you will get PR visa straight away along with temporary visa. Based on the location of the applicant partner visa application of particular class can be applied. Followings are the Partner visa Subclass:
- Partner Visa (Subclass 309/100) – Applicant need to be outside Australia.
- Partner Visa (Subclass 820/801) – Applicant must be in Australia.

Partner Visa (Temporary) | This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily. Getting this visa is the first step towards a permanent Partner visa (subclass 801). | Temporarily while we process your permanent Partner visa (subclass 801) application or it is withdrawn. |
Partner Visa (Permanent) | This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia permanently. It is usually only for people who currently hold a temporary Partner visa (subclass 820). | Permanently |
