Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (Labour Agreement Stream) (subclass 482)

This 482-visa stream is for employees who are nominated by an employer who has signed a labour agreement. The visa allows a worker to live and work in Australia temporarily. Labour Agreement is a special document signed between Australian Government and employer. The agreement is effective for a maximum of five years. An applicant, who is applying for this stream, is eligible to apply for permanent residency of Australia and has a benefit of sponsor family to live in Australia.

Criteria for applying Labour Agreement Visa

• An applicant must have 2 years of experience in the nominated occupation.
• 4.5 overall score is important, or anything written in Labour agreement.
• There is a need to meet the health and character requirement.
• The occupation must come under the Labour agreement between Government and employer.
